Singing to give pleasure to my fellow people -
this is a matter of heart for me
I started to perform my selfcreated carnival songs to an enthusiastic audience in the eighties. So I presented the songs in a big show programme in many events of local carnival clubs.
| In 1993 I was invited to the first festival of the Unstrut valley overlapping
two neighbouring counties organized by the town of Roßleben. I was chosen to introduce one of my first homeland songs "My Valley of the Unstrut" in a common live transmission of three local radio stations (Radio MDR 1; Radio Thüringen, Radio Sachsen Anhalt). Many performances in festival events even beyond Thuringia confirmed me to produce my home songs on a music cassette. This MC finally reached even a radio station in Chicago. I obtained an inivitation from the German speaking restaurant "Chicago Brauhaus" there in 1996 for a three weeks guest performance. I was invited to an interview with the "Continental Journal THE FOX" Elgin, too. I used the time after that to enhance my repertoire and to present it in many different cultural events. Due to these manifold demands a CD - production and another invitation to Chicago is intended.
